Konrad Krebs is a commercial trial and appellate lawyer representing insurance carriers and businesses in complex commercial, insurance, and bad faith litigation, particularly when a dispute involves large exposures or emerging issues of law likely to impact future industry disputes. 

He advises insurers in complex coverage litigation and disputes under all types of policies, including directors' & officers', errors and omissions, employers’ liability, professional liability, excess, commercial general liability, cyber, and first-party policies. Konrad also frequently represents insurers in mass tort bankruptcies and multidistrict litigation and has been involved in a variety of adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court.

Apart from his work for insurers, Konrad has also represented corporate clients and corporate officers in litigation arising out of myriad commercial disputes, and has secured successful outcomes for clients in state and federal courts throughout the country. Konrad has further represented clients with interested stakes in impact litigation, drafting and submitting amicus curiae briefs, including in the United States Supreme Court.

Prior to entering private practice, Konrad served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Paul Innes, Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division of the New Jersey Superior Court in Trenton, New Jersey.

Konrad maintains an active pro bono practice with several public interest organizations within the Third Circuit.

  • Obtained judgment on the pleadings in favor of insurer against commercial builder and claimants.
  • Represented insurer in coverage dispute involving disclosure of employee biometric information in violation of privacy statutes.
  • Obtained trial verdict valued at over USD 2 million in dispute between commercial tenant and its landlord.
  • Represented retailer on appeal in an issue of first impression in unfair competition lawsuit. regarding attorneys’ fees award, resulting in the reversal of trial court decision and client receiving a full fee award.
  • Defeated preliminary injunction seeking to halt use of intellectual property.
  • Obtained dismissal of lawsuit against corporate officer seeking damages arising out of company's insolvency.
  • Successfully prosecuted breach of complex commercial agreement series regarding production of commercial media.
