Jiyoung Lim Larson is dual-qualified as a South Korean and US (California and New York) lawyer and she represents clients in antitrust, trade, sanctions, and cross-border regulatory matters, with a particular focus on maritime-related issues. Jiyoung's practice also includes complex commercial and regulatory litigation in California state and federal courts.
With more than nine years of experience at international law firms in New York and Seoul, South Korea, Jiyoung has advised clients on multi-jurisdictional investigations and cross-border disputes involving antitrust and competition, trade, and regulatory enforcement. Her experience spans a broad range of industries, including technology, automotive, energy, maritime, chemicals, manufacturing, and life sciences sectors.
Working alongside highly respected trial counsel in California, Jiyoung has substantial experience handling complex commercial and product-related litigation, representing Fortune 500 companies in state and federal courts. She regularly manages all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, dispositive motion practice, and trial preparation.
Jiyoung is fluent in Korean and regularly advises on matters involving Korean, Asia-Pacific, and US regulatory regimes.

- Advised the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) as counsel for an intervenor Taiwanese semiconductor company in litigation against a US-based multinational corporation involving alleged anticompetitive conduct in the mobile chipset market.
- Represented a global corporate travel management company in its acquisition of a competing travel services provider in a DOJ Second Request merger investigation and subsequent merger litigation.
- Represented a multinational electronics manufacturer in an investigation by Chinese competition authorities regarding alleged monopolization and cartel activities in the DRAM market.
- Represented a Chinese state-owned shipping company in a KFTC investigation concerning alleged cartel conduct related to international shipping routes.
- Advised a leading online search and digital platform company in litigation brought by the KFTC involving alleged monopolization in online marketplace, video-sharing, and real estate platform services.
- Represented a multinational pharmaceutical company in litigation brought by the KFTC concerning an alleged pay-for-delay settlement.
- Part of teams representing multinational clients across the technology, automotive, energy, chemicals, manufacturing, and life sciences sectors in antitrust litigation, government investigations, and regulatory counselling matters.
