Wynne is a Legal Director in the Insurance and Reinsurance disputes team in the London office and a founding member of the firm’s cross-disciplinary Climate Change and Resilience practice group.
Wynne works on a wide range of insurance coverage disputes before the English High Court and Arbitration tribunals, with particular experience in speciality lines, bloodstock, contingency, personal accident and health, and construction insurance. She regularly advises on UK insurance regulatory matters (FCA and Lloyd's). Wynne also works on complex reinsurance matters involving multiple jurisdictions and parties.
Wynne was lead author of the Insurance Development Forum’s report on "Technology and the protection gap" as well as Clyde & Co’s series of reports on Climate Change Liability Risk. Wynne leads Clyde & Co’s global Resilience Associates group, drawing together expertise and insights from diverse practice areas and jurisdictions in Clyde & Co’s international network for thought leadership and pro bono activities.
Wynne advises insurers and other firm clients on climate risk and disclosures, delivering seminars and workshops on climate-related liability risks to businesses, directors and officers. She is regularly invited to speak on the topic of climate change litigation and has authored a number of articles in leading industry publications on insurtech, the protection gap, and climate liability risk.

Advising on contractual interpretation and aggregation under global reinsurance treaties in relation to Covid-19 related losses and conducting intensive fact analysis of claims across jurisdictions
Delivering coverage advice on claims on personal accident and health insurance policies made by professional sportspeople or high earning individuals and conducting resulting litigation
Successfully securing a worldwide freezing injunction in the High Court for insurer clients
Advising on coverage under contingency policies in relation to a number of high profile events during the Covid-19 pandemic
Advising on insurance regulatory issues under anti-terrorism and money laundering regulations for example in relation to kidnap and ransom insurance and insurance of cannabis
Successfully resolving a high value bloodstock insurance dispute
Advising on strategy and securing a favourable settlement in a long-running reinsurance dispute involving multiple jurisdictions and contract parties across a number of years of account
Litigating subrogated claims in negligence in the Technology and Construction Court for client construction and property insurers
