Justine is an Associate practicing in the insurance sectors in our London office. She obtained her Bcom Law and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2022. In 2025,Justine also obtained her masters degree in Insurance and Corporate Governance.
Justine started her articles with us in 2020.
Justine advises major South African insurers with regards to coverage and litigation relating to claims instituted against insureds seeking indemnity from their insurer. Justine has experience in general insurance and reinsurance litigation with a focus on professional indemnity and insurance claims. She also has knowledge in, and has advised clients regarding COVID-19 business interruption claims.

- Litigation in COVID-19 insurance disputes.
- Litigating on behalf of major South African insurance companies and instituting recovery actions.
- Advising and litigating on reinsurance disputes and representing clients in arbitration proceedings resulting from insurance and reinsurance disputes.
