Jay Patton has over 25 years of complex litigation experience handling a wide variety of matters ranging from first chair defense of complex business disputes and personal injury matters to managing counsel coordinating the defense of general liability matters over multiple jurisdictions. Jay's experience extends across many industries including manufacturing, retail, automotive and trucking, technology and insurance.
As with every client, Jay's goal is to be extremely responsive to their needs, to proactively assess and minimize risk, and to develop a plan to efficiently and effectively move their matter toward a resolution through settlement or trial, while keeping them up to date and aware of all significant developments in a timely fashion.
Jay's experience includes first chair trial experience for both jury and bench trials. Additionally, he has worked as monitoring counsel for insurers for matters involving allegations of bad faith and potential excess exposure.
