Miles is an associate in the real estate department at Clyde & Co. He joined the firm in 2022 having trained and qualified at a top tier UK real estate law firm. Miles deals with all aspects of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions and disposals, development projects, landlord and tenant matters, real estate finance and asset management.

Miles has a wide range of experience and advises on all aspects of commercial real estate matters. He regularly acts on acquisitions, disposals and development of commercial and mixed-use properties, negotiations of commercial lettings on behalf of both landlords and tenants, advising on property aspects of real estate financings and general asset management matters. Miles' clients operate in a variety of sectors across traditional and alternative asset classes.

Landlord & Tenant

  • Negotiating leases, agreements for lease and re-gears for a range of clients (both landlord and tenant) across a variety of real estate sectors including office, retail, F&B and mixed-use schemes.


  • Acting on an off-market £95m acquisition of a 14 acre site (comprising four separate estates) in South-East London for strategic redevelopment. Advising on VP Strategy and development constraints.
  • Advising on a £105m corporate acquisition and subsequent financing/hive-up of a high-end office building with a restaurant in Birmingham.
  • Acting on a £4.265mn strategic acquisition of premises in Derbyshire for a retail client.


  • Advising a developer client on a forward funding purchase of a residential scheme in Guildford. 

Real Estate Finance 

  • Advising on an acquisition financing in excess of £160m of a high-end residential development in Central London. 
  • Acting for a borrower client on several refinancings of their real estate portfolio, totalling approximately £60m.  

Asset Management 

  • Overseeing and project managing a portfolio-wide project for a retail client in upgrading their heating systems across their portfolio of stores to install more efficient and environmentally-friendly apparatus.
