Annabelle advises on a broad range of transactions with particular expertise in inward investment and residential-led mixed use development.

Her recent experience includes disposals of high-value office buildings, head office lettings for insurance firms, acquisition of a portfolio of industrial and out of town retail estates, and large development sites in London.

Annabelle is a long-standing member of the team, having qualified at Clyde & Co in 2004 and been promoted to partner in 2014. Annabelle was appointed to the UK Board at Clyde & Co in 2022.

She is also actively involved in The British Property Federation and Business London and acts as mentor to a number of professionals.

Experience

Leading the team on the acquisition of a portfolio of 9 freehold retail warehouse assets across England and Scotland and simultaneous financing of 14 multi-let industrial estates for c.£90m.

Acting for Regal London on the acquisition, financing and disposal of a number of residential and mixed use development sites across London including: 

  • Shoreditch Exchange (184 apartments, 350,000 square feet of commercial space and a GDV of £300 million)
  • One St Johns Wood (negotiation of £118,000,000 of senior debt from ICG Longbow for 112 apartments and 170 social and affordable rental apartments for Central and Cecil Housing Trust)
  • Camden Roundhouse (complex and significant site due to its location next to the Roundhouse and the ongoing regeneration of the area with a purchase price of £17,000,000)

Advising Corinthian Homes on their £90m financing with Oaktree in partnership with Fairfield Real Estate Finance to facilitate the design and construction of a new mixed use development at Hayle Harbour in Cornwall of over 550 homes together with a hotel, retail units, industrial, fishing units, a community building and green space with a GDV of £300,000,000.

Acting for GRE Assets in the acquisition and subsequent disposal of a residential building at Nene Wharf, Peterborough to Citra Living – the new PRS brand launched by Lloyds Banking Group.

Acting for high-end fashion retailer on an extension of their existing lease (10 year reversionary lease with annual rent subject to review at a minimum of £7.2 million) and varying terms of their existing lease to align with the extension at their New Bond Street premises.
