Experience
  • Advising a UK developer on the acquisition and development of a mixed use scheme in Essex, involving a joint venture with a mezzanine lender, planning agreements, infrastructure documentation and disposal
  • Acting for a UK developer on acquiring and developing business parks in Cheltenham and Gloucester including utility easements and agreements with Network Rail
  • Successfully obtaining compensation for a UK food manufacturer (as owner/occupier) on issues relating to a compulsory purchase of industrial premises, by the London Development Agency, for the Olympic site, and further advising on the acquisition of relocation premises
  • Acting on the acquisition, management and disposal of multi let investment buildings in central London
  • Acting for commercial lenders on secured loan facilities to developers of residential and mixed use developments, as well as commercial properties in the UK
  • Advising a number of private banks providing secured loans between GBP 3.5 million to GBP 36 million on residential properties to high net worth individuals (both resident and non-resident) involving offshore corporate/trust structures
  • Acting for a UK residential developer in structuring a mixed use development of flats, mews houses and commercial/retail premises in West Sussex
  • Acting for an American university in taking 20 year leases of two buildings being extensively developed for student accommodation in central London
  • Acting for an overseas investor on an acquisition of a multi let office building in central London for GBP 45 million and refinance of its UK commercial property portfolio
  • Advising a range of clients on their office relocations recently advising on a letting at 4 Kingdom Street, Paddington Central and a 64,000 sqft industrial warehouse being constructed in the south east of England
  • Acting for a global manufacturer in the management of its UK property assets  recently advising on the disposal and relocation of its UK headquarters
  • Acting for a overseas investor in the acquisition and management of a large portfolio of industrial estates
  • Acting for Greenfields Community Housing,  an affordable housing provider on acquisitions including from developers under s.106 obligations and subsequent development.
