Lindsay specializes in complex casualty claims involving catastrophic personal injury. She frequently acts as senior counsel in multi-party, complex matters involving occupiers' liability, professional liability, product liability, social host liability, health and safety, fraud and construction defects.
Running a client-focused practice, Lindsay spends much of her time defending architects, engineers, aviation professionals, insurance brokers, health and wellness professionals, international retail operations and corporate clients including directors, officers, professional managers and board members specifically in matters involving casualty and bodily injury.
Lindsay has represented clients at all levels of court in Canada and has appeared in front of a majority of the administrative tribunals and dispute resolution forums. She is particularly well known for her skills in mediation and alternative dispute resolution and often represents clients in regulatory proceedings, including investigations and disciplinary hearings.
Above all else, Lindsay is in tune with the needs of her clients and is known to handle sensitive information and situations with the utmost discretion and care.
Lindsay enjoys being involved in the legal community, particularly with respect to student development and mentorship. She has provided seminars to various industry groups on topics including damages, builders liens and professional standards of care. She has also volunteered as a moot court judge at the UBC Allard School of Law, and has been a guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia and Thompson Rivers University School of Law.
