We have a wealth of experience representing our clients in hearings throughout the world.
Leading the Way
In many countries there is no distinction between advocates and lawyers generally, in some jurisdictions however, advocacy has traditionally been outsourced to independent counsel. Due to our international spread and size, we are well positioned to provide advocacy for a case, including doing all the preparatory work, if that is appropriate. This has the benefit of providing clients with a seamless service, and can result in substantially lower fees overall. In some cases, it is entirely appropriate to utilise independent counsel and we will do so where it is necessary and in the best interests of our clients, whilst ensuring we manage costs by conducting parts of the advocacy which we are best able to conduct ourselves.
Internationally we have a large number of solicitor-advocates who are qualified to appear before all the courts. We are able to assist with alternative dispute resolution and are well versed in appearing on behalf of clients at arbitrations, adjudications and mediations.
