Mark advises clients on all aspects of brand protection, including trade mark filing strategy, trade mark selection and prosecution, validity and oppositions.  His experience ranges from working with large multinational companies on high level brand enforcement matters to assisting start-ups to develop brand protection strategies to complement their business and support their commercial success.

Mark is a trade mark attorney with over 20 years' experience in the trade mark field. He has spent 18 years in London with Gill Jennings & Every, progressing to the role of partner.  Mark relocated to Dubai in 2016 and he has, since then, been a partner at a specialist IP boutique firm.  Mark has been a recommended IP lawyer in both the World Trademark Review 1000 and Legal 500 directories.

With Mark's arrival, Clyde & Co has a unique offering in the Middle East, as the only firm in the region which is full service across the entire IP life cycle, with each area of IP (registration-related, commercial and contentious) being partner led.
