Global law firm Clyde & Co has advised Arivia, a leading producer of plant-based cheese, on the sale of its business by way of auction sale to the European branch of Upfield Group B.V., the world's largest plant-based consumer packaged goods company.
Arivia is a leader in the plant-based cheese market and owner of the brand VIOLIFE, the number one plant-based cheese brand in the UK. Arivia has also built a strong presence in the US. The company is headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece, with a factory located in the north-east of the country.
