Raeesah is a senior associate in the Johannesburg office who specialises in mergers and acquisitions as well as company law and also advises on commercial contracts.
Raeesah studied at The University of Pretoria where she obtained her LLB degree in 2011. She additionally completed courses in both Advanced Company Law I and II at the University of Witwatersrand. She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2016.
Her area of expertise is corporate transactions with significant experience in M&A. She advises clients on acquisitions and disposals, the Companies Act and commercial contracts. Her clients include a wide range of business stakeholders including international clients with interest in local businesses and local clients involved in international transactions.
Raeesah has substantial experience supporting and advising multinational clients on the application, implementation and integration of POPIA.
