Emma has a solid foundation in marine insurance law and has practised in this area since 2004. She is known for her personable approach and providing clear, incisive advice honed to the needs of her clients.
She acts for a number of UK and foreign insurers in a wide range of claims arising from the damage/loss of cargo in transit, whether it involves carriage by sea, air, rail or road. Her experience also extends to logistics, warehousing, ports and terminals, as well as yacht insurance.
Emma handles litigation before the English courts and arbitration tribunals, as well as co-ordinating litigation in a number of other jurisdictions such as Russia, China and Brazil.
