With over 35 years of experience under his belt, Tony Slemko is a legal practitioner and litigator focusing on insurance law. His work encompasses all aspects of this field, from subrogation and defence of property claims to coverage disputes, construction law, defamation and professional liability matters. He has advised a broad range of national and international insurance clients and has litigated cases in all of the Western provinces and in the three territories.

Tony takes a proactive approach to litigation and advises clients on the range of alternative dispute resolution processes and early resolution procedures. Respected by counsel and the judiciary, he has developed a reputation as an effective and cost-efficient advocate.

In 2020, Tony was awarded the King’s Counsel designation in recognition of his contributions to the profession and the community.
