Arman has acted for individuals, global insurers and S&P 500 companies across diverse sectors including agriculture, construction, financial services, food and beverage, insurance, logistics, manufacturing, retail and consumer goods, and technology.  

Arman had conduct of Australia’s first high-profile cybercrime prosecution where he represented an individual subject to a global cyber investigation characterised as a ‘world first for any law enforcement agency’ that involved the alleged use of spyware and remote access trojans, following a multi-jurisdictional investigation in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France and the United States (investigated by the FBI). 

Arman is a published author in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and investigations, data protection and white-collar crime.  

He has appeared as a solicitor advocate in litigated matters before the Local, District, and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, as well as the Federal Court of Australia. 

Arman holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from Bond University and is entered on the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia.

  • Commercial: Advising a global insurer in negotiating commercial terms for a major partnership deal with a financial technology company. 
  • Incident Response, Data Protection & Privacy: Acting in connection with a high-profile ransomware incident involving the exfiltration of over 650GB of data. 

  • Incident Response, Data Protection & Privacy: Acting for a multinational corporation that was subject to a misdirection of funds.  
  • Incident Response, Data Protection & Privacy: Co-leading a major privacy up-lift project that involved conducting a data mapping exercise and gap analysis across multiple business applications. 
  • Incident Response, Data Protection & Privacy: Acting for a major organisation that was the victim of fraud following unauthorised account access. 
  • Dispute Resolution: Acting for a client in a high stakes tax dispute with the Australian Taxation Office.
