Climate Change Litigation – Insights into the evolving global landscape

20 April 2021 Climate Change Risk Practice

1. Introduction

We are pleased to present 'Climate Change Litigation – Insights into the evolving global landscape', a report co-written with the Geneva Association.

Achieving the objectives set out in the Paris Agreement will require dramatic transformations in business models and supply chains, as well as in everyday life. As the world begins to transition to a net-zero economy, climate-related litigation cases are also gaining pace, increasing in volume and expanding in scope and geographical coverage.

This report provides a cohesive mapping and analysis of the evolving global landscape of climate change litigation, with the aim to better define the boundaries of this growing global phenomenon and further understand its development and impact.
