Our experience includes successfully acting for insurers and the insured retailer in the “toxic sofa” litigation, where claimants allegedly contracted a severe skin condition from China-manufactured furniture contaminated with a sensitising chemical; and defending an Italian industrial vehicle and bus manufacturing company against litigation arising from fires involving its cargo trucks, allegedly caused by a defective, and subsequently recalled, vehicle component.
