Aditi specialises in property, construction and liability insurance. She regularly acts for the London Market and global insurer clients. Her practice involves both non-contentious matters which involve providing policy coverage advice to insurers and contentious matters which involve liability defence claims and pursuing subrogated recoveries. Aditi has extensive experience of complex property, product liability (including 'forever chemicals') and construction and engineering claims. She is a highly experienced litigator who has run and managed multi-party complex cases through to court trials in the London High Court, arbitrations and mediations.
Aditi also has experience of policy wording reviews and reviewing online underwriting systems. Aditi is also regularly involved in providing a number of seminars for clients. Previous topics have included considering important developments in the law of insurance such as the Insurance Act 2015 and Third Parties (Rights against Insurers) Act 2010 together with considering practical issues relating to online underwriting platforms. She is also a member of the Managing General Agents' Association (MGAA).
Successful examples of Aditi’s work include the reported case of Escott -v- Tunbridge Wells Borough Council [2016] EWHC 2793 (QB) which was led by Aditi for the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council where Aditi achieved a successful result for the Council as a claim of £1.5m was struck out and a costs order was also made in favour of the Council.
