Enrique is particularly noted for his deep expertise in aviation and maritime law, regularly advising airlines, airports, cargo operators, and shipping companies on regulatory compliance, liability, litigation, and incident response. His practice also encompasses insurance and reinsurance, including policy drafting and adaptation to Spanish law, professional indemnity, arbitration, and competition law.
He has represented airlines in aircraft accident investigations and aeronautical audits and frequently appears before Spanish courts on behalf of insurers, reinsurers, and insured parties—both domestic and international. Enrique also provides strategic advice on international contracts and private international law, and is a trusted advisor to Lloyd’s underwriters, Spanish insurers, and global insurance brokers and adjusters.
Holding a PhD in Law, Enrique is a professor of Private International Law at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. He is a published author of books and articles on Insurance Law and International Trade Law and is a regular speaker at national and international industry forums.

- Handling proceedings in Madrid, New York, Caracas, Melbourne and the UK in relation to Germanwings flight 9525 from Barcelona to Dusseldorf crashed into the French Alps on March 2015 with the loss of all 150 on board.
- Representing Europop International in the accident of A400M happened in Seville in 2015.
- Acting on third party liability claims including aircraft damage, ATC disputes, property damage and significant personal injury claims.
- Advising Insurers on accident to Spanair occurred in 2008, on scheduled flight from Madrid to Gran Canaria which crashed on take off resulting in multiple fatalities.
