He is a sought-after advocate in both domestic and international arbitration, where he regularly represents clients in complex, high-stakes proceedings. With a science-based background, Jonathan possesses a sharp analytical edge, allowing him to quickly grasp intricate technical details and challenge expert witnesses effectively during cross-examinations. He also has deep expertise in major standard forms of contract, providing strategic advice to clients on risk allocation and dispute avoidance.
Beyond advocacy, Jonathan has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including adjudication and mediation, helping clients achieve commercially optimised outcomes outside of litigation. His experience extends to acting as an arbitrator in international disputes under multiple institutional rules, bringing a well-rounded perspective to the resolution process. Jonathan is also a qualified adjudicator with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

- Lead advocate in an arbitration in Oman - for an Employer in a wrongful termination arbitration claim relating to a landmark sports facility in the Middle East. Seated in Oman, and under ICC rules
