Clyde & Co continues rapid expansion in Saudi Arabia with new corporate partner appointment

Global law firm Clyde & Co has today announced the hire of corporate commercial lawyer Mohammed Almarzouki as a partner in its Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Mohammed will be based in the firm's Riyadh office and is joining Clyde & Co's Global Corporate & Advisory practice.

Mohammed is a highly regarded corporate partner and advises family businesses, investors, and corporations on M&A, JVs, capital markets and general corporate advisory matters. He is a licensed lawyer in Saudi Arabia, a qualified attorney in the State of New York, and a qualified solicitor in England and Wales. Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Mohammed co-founded Alzawawi and Almarzouki Law Firm in Jeddah. He has also worked for Allen & Overy in the UK, Khoshaim & Associates in Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA).

In the last 18 months, the firm has bolstered its 24-strong MEA corporate partner group with the hire of Mohamed Barakat, Sameh Dahroug, Mostafa Elsakaa, Amalia Lui, Gasant Orrie and Chadi Salloum, and the promotion to partner of Roshanak Bassiri Gharb
