Alice is an associate in Clyde & Co’s International Arbitration Group. She is an English-qualified solicitor advocate with rights of audience in senior civil courts of England & Wales and has a background in French law.
Alice has extensive international dispute resolution experience in the construction, engineering, energy and natural resources sectors, in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe. She has acted for a range of clients in commercial and investor-State arbitrations governed by ICSID, ICC, LCIA and ARIAS rules. Alice also has litigation experience, including in the English Technology and Construction Court and Commercial Court.
Alice is an active member of Clyde & Co’s Resilience initiative and has written on environmental issues and industry developments.

Acted for a Brazilian steel manufacturer in ICC arbitration against two Chinese State-owned engineering companies regarding the defective design, supply, building, training and commissioning of a steel power plant.
Acted for a leading Brazilian oil and gas operator in LCIA arbitration against an Australian company in respect of the withdrawal from a Joint Operating Agreement and related Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement.
Acted for a Brazilian contractor in LCIA arbitration (and related English Commercial Court applications) against a Caribbean state and State-owned entity concerning the wrongful termination of a FIDIC Yellow Book contract for the construction of a highway.
Advised a US insurer on potential causes of subrogated action against a chemicals manufacturer and an industrial detergent manufacturer.
Defended a UK contractor and its insurers in respect of tri-partite litigation following the destruction by fire of a flue-gas desulphurisation unit at a coal power plant.
Defended Chinese contractors in ICC arbitration against a Bangladeshi sub-contractor in respect of the termination of a Bangladeshi law governed FIDIC sub-contract for the construction of a water treatment plant.
Advised a leading Chinese oil and gas company on enforcement of CIETAC arbitral awards in England.
Defended a South African reinsurer in ARIAS arbitrations relating to the destruction of a residue storage facility in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Advising on causes of action in a dispute over investments made in Crimea.
Acted for reinsurers in LCIA arbitration relating to a hydro electric dam construction project in Brazil.
