Ian's practice focuses on resolving complex planning issues. He has extensive experience advising a cross sector client base across all aspects of town and country planning. His advice spans compulsory purchase, high court claims, highways-related work, planning and listed building enforcement and environmental impact assessment.
Ian has extensive experience advising a range of sectors including aviation, residential, commercial, retail and leisure. His work ranges from complex and controversial strategic / infrastructure development projects to heritage property and high-value homeowner projects. Ian advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters, and has secured a number of land-mark legal judgements. He also has considerable experience in defending criminal prosecutions for breaches of planning enforcement and listed building control.
Ian Ginbey leads on my most high-profile project and has given expert advice from the start of the engagement. His most recent experience of planning appeals is particularly useful for myself as a client who has only undertaken one such appeal in the past. The advice is pitched at the right level and on point all the time.
