Profil complet

Sarah joined Clyde & Co in 2020 and is an associate in the International Arbitration and Commercial Litigation team in London.

Sarah works on a diverse range of contentious matters but has particular experience in the energy and commodities sectors (including commodities trading and energy disputes arising under Product Sharing Agreements in the Middle East), as well as general commercial and corporate disputes.

Sarah has practical experience of arbitration under major institutional rules (including the LCIA, ICC, ICSID and trade bodies’ rules) as well as litigation in the UK courts of all levels.

Sarah represents clients (including governments, state-owned entities, large multinational corporations, and private commercial entities) based in the UK, Middle East, Europe and Africa. Sarah’s work is high value, complex, and often multi-jurisdictional.

Sarah also has a strong interest in climate law and policy. She has worked with the Firm’s Climate Liability & Risk team to advise clients on climate-related risks and liabilities. Sarah is highly engaged with the Firm’s climate-related activities and has spoken at internal and external events about her experience as a lawyer working in the climate space. Sarah volunteers with Legal Response International (LRI) and attended COP26 in 2021 to help offer free legal advice and support to delegates. Sarah also spent 6 months on secondment to The Chancery Lane Project, a pro bono initiative that brings together lawyers to draft and implement climate-aligned clauses in commercial contracts across all sectors and continues to support the Project’s implementation goals.
