Gus Peake joined us in 2016 and was promoted to partner within the Catastrophic Injury team in 2019. Gus defends claims arising from the Motor, Employers Liability, and Public Liability accidents.

Gus also does indemnity work, including declaration proceedings under Section 152(2) Road Traffic Act 1988. 

Gus has a detailed understanding of clinical negligence. His particular interest is Brain Injury caused by hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy resulting in cerebral palsy and late diagnosis of osteosarcoma.

Gus recently secured GBP 4.25 million out of court for an 18-year-old who suffered incomplete tetraplegia. He has successfully pursued a significant number of claims to trial. 

Gus is a member of our national Catastrophic Injury group.
