Former Managing Partner of Clyde & Co's Doha office, David transitioned to Consultant of the firm in May 2019. He re-joined Clyde & Co in March 2007 having previously been a partner there for some twelve years.
A corporate and commercial lawyer based in Qatar for some 16 years, David has extensive experience of advising clients on Qatar and English laws and regulations across a broad range of sectors, including, education, energy, manufacturing, hospitality, real estate, banking and finance, corporate finance and restructuring. David is the Honorary Legal Adviser to the British Ambassador in Qatar, the British Chamber of Commerce Qatar and also to the Qatar British Business Forum, the largest trade organisation of its kind in Qatar with some 500 members.
