Stefan is an Associate in the Marine and International Trade team and joined Clyde & Co from another international law firm in 2018.  Stefan advises cargo owners and insurers on the resolution of complex disputes arising out of the carriage of goods by sea and marine casualties.

Stefan has extensive experience in cargo recoveries and is regularly instructed by marine insurers to pursue recovery of major marine and trade losses in multiple jurisdictions, as well as to defend claims in General Average and salvage.

Stefan has spent time working in London and Singapore.

Expérience

• Acting for international cargo owners and insurers in defence of General Average and salvage claims following fires on board and the grounding of containerships
• Acting for  international cargo owners and insurers in relation to losses arising from marine casualties
• Advising clients in relation to claims concerning damage to temperature controlled cargoes
