Clyde & Co strengthens automotive practice with Partner hire in California

Ani Tolmoyan joins from Lewis Brisbois and brings significant experience advising automotive manufacturers on California warranty litigation matters. She is widely recognized within the automotive sector and a regular presenter at the annual California Warranty Conferences.

Her appointment comes at a time when automotive manufacturers are navigating heightened regulatory scrutiny, evolving consumer protection requirements, and growing litigation exposure arising from new vehicle technologies - all of which create greater demand for specialist disputes and risk advisory support.
She also strengthens the firm's capabilities in California, a strategic market at the intersection of automotive innovation, technology, and complex cross-border business activity.

Kevin Sutherland, Partner at Clyde & Co, said:

"Ani is a highly regarded automotive warranty litigator with an impressive reputation in the California market. Her deep sector knowledge, extensive experience, and strong client relationships will further enhance our ability to support automotive manufacturers, dealers, insurers and other industry participants as they navigate an increasingly complex risk and regulatory landscape.”

Ani Tolmoyan added:

“Joining Clyde & Co will enable me to help further develop the firm's automotive offering. With its strong existing platform and a clear commitment to the sector, the firm is well positioned for continued growth. This is a compelling opportunity to build on its existing automotive work and client relationships. I'm so excited to get started.”

Clyde & Co's automotive team advises manufacturers, suppliers, insurers and other industry participants on a broad range of disputes, regulatory matters and emerging risks affecting the sector.
