Andrea is a Legal Director in the Healthcare Department acting for a variety of healthcare professionals and providers on instructions from medical defence organisations, insurers and NHS Resolution. Andrea specialises in clinical negligence claims and claims brought under the Equality Act 2010. Andrea qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 and joined Clyde & Co LLP in 2020.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co LLP, Andrea spent 6 years at another leading defendant firm specialising in the defence of clinical negligence claims.

Andrea manages a wide-ranging caseload dealing with both medical and dental multi-party negligence claims for insurers, medical defence organisations, NHS Trusts and private clients. Andrea's practice includes high value and complex claims involving injuries of the utmost severity, cross jurisdictional issues, issues of non delegable duty and vicarious liability. She manages novel claims involving the Equality Act 2010 and the Human Right Act 1998. She regularly represents her clients at contested hearings in both the High Court and County Court, mediations, conferences and settlement meetings.
