Pablo Iglesias Marquina is an Associate in the Transport team based in our Madrid office, specialising in cargo claims and recoveries (marine & aviation), as well as insurance disputes (cargo and third liability).

As a Foreign Trade Specialist in the Shipping Industry, Pablo applies his legal and business expertise to facilitate international trade and transportation, with a particular focus on the maritime sector. 

With over ten years of experience, he has worked in various countries and organizations, including GOÑI & Co. Abogados, the European Commission (DG INTPA), DACHSER, and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Tokyo. He currently works in the Transport team at our Madrid office, focusing on cargo claims and recoveries (marine and aviation).

In addition to his legal experience, his core competencies include document management, customer support, relationship building, project design and programming, and policy analysis. Pablo has successfully coordinated and managed FCL import traffic across multiple Spanish ports, prepared briefings and consultations on sustainable transport and development projects in Asia and Africa, and handled court cases and proceedings related to shipping and maritime law.

He is fluent in Spanish, Galician, English, and Portuguese. Additionally, he has some knowledge of French and Japanese.
