Laura Oliver joined Clyde & Co in 2020 from Hogan Lovells as a partner in the real estate team.

Laura's extensive experience includes high value and complex investment acquisitions and disposals and high profile leases.  Laura has particular expertise in strategic sale and leaseback projects for corporate occupiers.

Laura enjoys the tangible nature of real estate and takes pride in offering her clients an exemplary service founded on a solid understanding of their commercial objectives.

  • Acting on the acquisition of a landmark building in the West End of London through a Jersey property unit trust for a price in excess of £400m and the subsequent in specie distribution.
  • Advising on the acquisition and refinancing of a portfolio of outlet malls valued at in excess of £375m.
  • Acting for a major bank in connection a new lease of its flagship branch in the City of London.
  • Acting for a national retailer in relation to the disposal of their leasehold liabilities in relation to 21 surplus stores.
  • Acting for a corporate occupier in relation to the sale and partial leaseback of its UK headquarters.
