Wence Rupert studied Dutch law at Utrecht University and international law at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. In 1995 he obtained his master's degree in private law and international law.
Wence has been a lawyer since 1995 and has been a partner since 1 January 2005. Wence specialises in liability and insurance law. He advises and litigates on policy matters, directors' liability, product liability, professional liability and related matters.
Wence has registered the following legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar's register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): contract law. Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in this legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
