William VanDehei focuses his practice on commercial litigation, general liability defense, and civil appeals. He has successfully defended a variety of clients from individuals and family-owned businesses to large national corporations in cases raising claims of professional liability, negligent entrustment, premises liability, and general negligence. William has handled all aspects of litigation, from claim inception through resolution on appeal.
During law school, William focused on trial and appellate advocacy. He was the only student chosen to represent his school in two external moot court competitions in the same academic year, bringing home awards for brief writing and oral advocacy. In recognition of his work, William was inducted into the Order of the Barristers national honor society. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable David B. Gass on the Arizona Court of Appeals, where he drafted six published opinions and more than 30 memorandum decisions addressing civil, criminal, and juvenile law.
Beyond his professional life, he enjoys sports, reading, and spending time with his family.
