Annie is an associate in the property, niche risks and liability teams in London. Annie advises and acts for insurance companies on a wide variety of coverage issues, across a broad range of sectors. She also advises clients on liability and regulatory issues. 

Annie has particular experience in specialty and contingency claims, including PA, sports insurance, event cancellation, entertainment/cast insurance, kidnap & ransom, and travel insurance. She also has experience litigating subrogated actions and contractual claims in both the County Court and High Court.

Expérience
  • Advising insurers on coverage under their travel books in light of COVID-19 restrictions implemented both in the UK and overseas.
  • Advising insurers on coverage issues in respect of concussive injuries in professional rugby.
  • Investigating and advising on issues of aggregation under a complex reinsurance treaty.
  • Advising a media production company on issues of liability.
  • Advising insurers on coverage under their contingency books in light of the conflict in Ukraine, including the application and operation of war risks exclusions.
  • Acting in a subrogated action regarding the application and interpretation of the Package Travel Regulations 2018.
  • Advising insurers on their obligations under the FCA’s principle of “fair value”.
