Ted Westfall focuses his civil litigation practice on defending general liability and municipal liability claims. Ted represents individuals, businesses, and government agencies in disputes involving personal injury, premises liability, and breach of contract. His approach is practical and strategic, helping clients manage risk and resolve complex matters efficiently.
Before joining Clyde & Co, Ted served in the US Army for 22 years. He began his military career as an infantry officer and before law school deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After earning his law degree, Ted spent 14 years as an Army attorney. Ted advised senior leaders on issues ranging from internal investigations and employment law to regulatory compliance for UAS (drone) and cyber operations. He represented the Army in criminal prosecutions, tort claims, federal labor negotiations, and provided legal support for operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
Ted retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, bringing a wealth of leadership and legal experience to his current practice.
