Sofia Ivanka Ochoa focuses her practice on maritime law, energy law, and commercial litigation. She has advised clients on a variety of maritime issues, including charter party disputes, towage, carriage of goods and maritime personal injury.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Sofia worked as an International Law Clerk in a Singaporean law firm, where she focused on cross border litigation involving commercial, construction, and energy disputes as well as international insolvency matters.
Sofia obtained an LL.M. in the UK specializing in European Law while completing her J.D. in the US. During law school, Sofia was a legal intern at a Fortune 500 company in their US and UK offices.
