Within her practice, Darling provides advice on legal and regulatory compliance obligations with new data protection regulations and legislation in multiple national and international jurisdictions. Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (University of Western Sydney) and Bachelor of Arts (Macquarie University).

Advising on high profile ransomware data breach incidents during the cyber incident life-cycle which includes the following:
advising C-suite and boards on legal and regulatory obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), various state-based privacy legislation, and Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (Cth);
acting as breach coach managing the incident response;
advising on recovery rights against third parties, and pursuing and defending litigated and non-litigated claims; and
responding to complex regulatory investigations.
Advising large organisations on uplifting cyber readiness and conducting tabletop, simulations and fire drill exercises.
Advising various clients on extortion decision-making frameworks.
Advising on application and obligations under various data and privacy and data protection legislation and regulations.
