Marta is a litigator in the Milan office specializing in commercial disputes and insurance coverage and defense with respect to all forms of Financial Lines products, Casualty and Property.

Marta has a deep knowledge of the insurance industry and has been on secondment to some major international insurers.

Before joining Clyde & Co in February 2023, Marta has been an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team of another international law firm. She graduated in 2016 and is admitted to the Milan Bar since 2018.

Expérience

• Assisted a major Lloyd’s Syndicate in the high-value claim for mismanagement brought by the Court-appointed Administrators of a large Italian bank against former directors and auditors
• Assisted and defended insurers in professional negligence claims against lawyers, doctors, architects, brokers and accountants
• Assisted and defended the insured public entity in the claim brought by the heirs of a victim in a car accident
• Advised the property insurer in handling and settling a large claim relating to a huge fire occurred at a major Italian airport which also resulted in BI losses
